The Olive Branch Police Department recognized Lieutenant Travis Cline for 15 years of service to the department and the City of Olive Branch, Mississippi.
The recognition was issued by Chief Carlos E. Garcia and the department, which described Cline as an asset to its team and thanked him for his service and dedication.
Jon Ross Myers founded Mississippi News Group in 2013. Before founding the organization, he worked at The Daily Mississippian, The Marion Salute and The Southern Sentinel. A Mississippi journalist and writer based in Ripley, he received second place in poetry in the 2025 William Faulkner Literary Competition for "The Garden."
