The Olive Branch Police Department recognized Lieutenant Shelia Mynatt for 31 years of service to the department and the City of Olive Branch, Mississippi.
Chief Carlos E. Garcia, the Olive Branch Police Department and Olive Branch Emergency Communications congratulated Mynatt and described her as an asset to the communications team and police department. The department thanked her for her years of service and dedication.

A Mississippi journalist and writer based in Ripley, he received second place in poetry in the 2025 William Faulkner Literary Competition for "The Garden."
