New three-way stop installed at Lafayette County intersection

The Lafayette County Road Department has installed a three-way stop at the intersection of County Road 232, also known as Deer Run North, and County Road 217, also known as Camp Ground Road. The change is active now.

Stop signs now control traffic in all three directions at the intersection. Drivers using the route must come to a complete stop in all directions, a change from the previous traffic pattern.

Drivers are advised to use extra caution in the area as they adjust to the new traffic pattern.
