NALGW schedules brief outages for emergency Bankhead Street repair

NALGW electric crews will conduct an emergency repair later this afternoon, temporarily de-energizing the circuit serving customers along the south side of Bankhead Street from Beasleys Funeral Home to the trailhead and into South New Albany, according to a notice from the New Albany Main Street Association.

The first outage is expected to begin around 5 p.m. and last about 10 to 15 minutes for most customers. A second outage of about 10 to 15 minutes is expected later in the evening while crews complete the repair and tie the circuit back together.
