Local first responders and community members gathered at Howard Coliseum for a Memorial Stair Climb marking the 25th anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001, according to Northwest Mississippi Community College.
The event honored and remembered the fallen heroes of 9/11. The post also said the community continues to remember the courage, sacrifice and selflessness of those who died while trying to save others.
