Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office deputies were out in the community during the evening, according to a post attributed to Sheriff Joey East and the office.
The post said deputies were checking in with local businesses, visiting residents and making their presence known as part of the office’s effort to protect, serve and connect with the Lafayette County community.
