The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office conducted driving training for its entire department last week, with deputies practicing skills used to serve and protect the community, the agency said.
The training took place at the Water Valley Municipal Airport, which allowed the sheriff’s office to use its facility for 48 hours, according to Sheriff Joey East.

The Water Valley Police Department and Yalobusha County Sheriff’s Office also participated and helped make the training possible, the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office said.
