Gautier closes portion of Old Spanish Trail near Graveline Road

The City of Gautier has closed a portion of Old Spanish Trail near Graveline Road after an inspection of the 19-foot bridge span found structural concerns, according to the Gautier Police Department.

The closure took effect immediately at the east end of Old Spanish Trail as motorists approach Graveline Road. The road will remain closed until further notice or until necessary repairs are completed.

Frasier Park remains accessible via Magnolia Tree Road or the portion of Old Spanish Trail before the closure.

The city asked residents and visitors to cooperate as officials work to keep them safe.
