Gautier closes municipal offices Friday ahead of Hurricane Isaias

The City of Gautier will close City Hall and designated municipal offices Friday because of the anticipated impacts of Hurricane Isaias, citing employee and resident safety.

The closure includes City Hall, Police Records and Administrative Offices, Municipal Courts, the Utilities Department, and the Parks and Recreation Department. Emergency police and fire services will remain operational.

Normal business operations are expected to resume Monday, Oct. 12, weather and conditions permitting. City officials are monitoring the hurricane and coordinating with the Jackson County Office of Emergency Services to prepare for potential impacts.
