Five graduate from Northwest Mississippi Community College paramedic program

Five people recently graduated from the paramedic program at Northwest Mississippi Community College and are joining DeSoto County’s emergency medical services staff, according to the DeSoto County Board of Supervisors.

The new paramedics join more than two dozen paramedics and emergency medical technicians who staff the county’s four ambulances. Together, they provide round-the-clock emergency medical care to residents across DeSoto County.

The county board congratulated the graduates and thanked them for their dedication to serving the community.
