City of Gautier seeks temporary, part-time school crossing guard

The City of Gautier is seeking a part-time, temporary school crossing guard to join its Police Department for the remainder of the school year.

The position follows the school calendar, with morning hours from 7 to 8 a.m. and afternoon hours from 2 to 3 p.m.

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, pass a drug screening and be willing to work in rain or shine. The application deadline is October 1, 2026.

The city said the crossing guard will help students get to and from school safely.
