Griesson-de Beukelaer invests more than $70 million in Madison County
Griesson-de Beukelaer announced in a Facebook reel that it will invest more than $70 million in Madison County, Mississippi, the company said in the social media post.
The announcement, posted under the tagline “Starting off the week with more Mississippi Momentum,” did not include a timetable or details about the project in the post. The company said only that the investment will take place in Madison County.
Griesson-de Beukelaer is a Germany-based biscuit and confectionery manufacturer that operates internationally. Investments of this size typically signal plans for new production capacity, warehousing or distribution facilities and often bring additional economic activity to hosting communities.
Madison County, part of the Jackson metropolitan area in central Mississippi, has attracted manufacturing and distribution projects in recent years as state and local officials seek to expand jobs and broaden the tax base. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
