Good evening. A warming trend this week will push temperatures well above normal through midweek, according to weather forecasts. Afternoon highs are expected to reach the mid to upper 70s before a cold front arrives late in the week.
Some strong to severe storms could develop Friday into Friday night. Cooler temperatures are forecast to return by the weekend, bringing relief from the warmth.
