Hot conditions are forecast to remain throughout the Mid-South through the next week, with limited relief expected, according to the US National Weather Service Memphis Tennessee.
Afternoon highs will climb back into the 100s areawide as early as Sunday, while heat index values are forecast to range from 100 F to 111 F.
