Elevated to limited heat stress conditions are expected across the forecast area from Sunday through Tuesday, according to the US National Weather Service in Jackson, Mississippi.
Peak heat index values are forecast to range from near 105 to 110 degrees. People who remain outdoors for an extended duration are advised to take breaks and stay hydrated.
