Cold front to bring increased rain chances across the Mid-South

After an abnormally dry stretch across the Mid-South, a cold front is expected to increase shower and thunderstorm chances across the entire area through the weekend, according to the US National Weather Service Memphis Tennessee.

The expected rain is welcomed because soils, waterways and plants need moisture, the weather service said.
