Lowndes County joins Click It or Ticket seat-belt enforcement

The Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office said it will join law enforcement agencies nationwide in the Click It or Ticket campaign

JACKSON — The Mississippi Highway Patrol will increase enforcement during the Memorial Day holiday travel period, the agency said Friday.

A message posted on Facebook said, “A ticket is inconvenient. A crash is life-changing. Buckle your seat belt every time.

Especially during this time, troopers will conduct high-visibility patrols to promote safe travel and deter unsafe driving practices.
