Meridian High will play Columbus at 7 p.m. in Meridian, while Lamar will face Starkville Academy at the same time and location, according to the City of Meridian-Government.
The city said the Friday night games will bring two local teams onto the field and encouraged the community to support the students, coaches and families. It wished the Wildcats and Raiders good luck.
