Opinion questions futures of Zxavian Harris and Dae’Quan Wright
Blake Levine Sports Reporter said in an opinion post that Zxavian Harris and Dae’Quan Wright are the “real victims” of a situation in which they were told to return to college because they would be eligible to play. The post said they went through a lawsuit intended to help them return.
According to the post, Harris and Wright are now in “no man’s land.” With the NFL season starting, their chances of making a practice squad were described as slim to practically over, while they also would not be playing college football.
The post said LSU would move forward with its season but questioned what would happen to Harris and Wright. It said Harris had been projected to be a draft pick before an injury and expressed hope that he would recover. It also said Wright could make a practice squad if injuries created opportunities during the year.
