MHSAA, National Guard recognize two Mississippi high school coaches

The Mississippi High School Activities Association and the Mississippi Army National Guard recognized Jesse Nelson of Falkner High School and Travalyn Smith of Jefferson County High School through the “Salute To Coaches” campaign.

Nelson is Falkner’s head football and baseball coach. Smith is Jefferson County’s head basketball coach. The campaign honors coaches who exemplify core values and positively influence student-athletes on and off the field.
