Louisville native Chris Blair’s football journey reaches the Falcons

Chris Blair, a Louisville, Mississippi, native and former Louisville High School football and basketball letterman, has reached the Atlanta Falcons after working through college football, the NFL and the XFL.

Blair began his college career at Hinds Community College before finishing at Alcorn State, where he recorded 1,460 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns in two seasons.

After going undrafted in 2020, Blair worked out for the Green Bay Packers and signed with the team in January 2021 as an undrafted free agent. He spent the 2021 season on Green Bay’s practice squad.

Blair joined the D.C. Defenders of the XFL in 2023 and caught 26 passes for 594 yards and three touchdowns during the team’s run to the championship game.

Atlanta signed Blair to its practice squad that summer. He later made his NFL regular-season debut in Week 12 against the Saints and is now in a Falcons uniform.
