Capitol Police are asking for the public’s assistance in a fatal hit-and-run investigation.
On Nov. 17, 2024, at about 6:51 p.m., officers responded to Raymond Road near Valley Street, under the viaduct, where they found Cedric Jones lying motionless on the pavement.
Mr. Jones was taken to the University of Mississippi Medical Center for treatment. He died from his injuries on Feb. 2, 2025.
