US COVID19 Update for April 6th 2020: 347,003 cases and 10,335 deaths

According to Johns Hopkins University and the Center for Systems Science and Engineering, here are the updated numbers as of Monday, April 6th at 1:45 PM Central Time.

There are over 347,000 cases im the US and over 10,000 deaths. Worldwide there are 1.3 Million cases and over 70,000 deaths.

The map was first shared publicly on Jan. 22. It was developed to provide researchers, public health authorities, and the general public with a user-friendly tool to track the outbreak as it unfolds. All data collected and displayed are made freely available through a GitHub repository, along with the feature layers of the dashboard, which are now included in the ESRI Living Atlas.
