Welty House announces closures during Mississippi Book Festival week

The Welty House will have limited access during Mississippi Book Festival week, including a closed 3 p.m. tour on Friday, September 25, as visiting authors are welcomed to the house.

The house also will be closed Saturday, September 26, while organizers set up on the Community Lawn. Festival visitors can stop by the exhibitor booth for a Welty fan while exploring authors and panels at the event at the Capitol.
