Pafford Ambulance Service to become Meridian’s ambulance provider

Pafford Ambulance Service will become the ambulance provider for the City of Meridian, effective at 12:01 a.m. on Sept. 18, 2026, the city announced.

Mayor Percy Bland said the administration is committed to providing dependable emergency medical care and protecting the lives of Meridian residents. The announcement said additional information about the city’s EMS leadership and emergency medical services will be announced tomorrow.
