MDOT secures $44 million federal grant for DeSoto County road improvements

The Mississippi Department of Transportation has secured a $44 million federal grant for road improvements in DeSoto County, according to the DeSoto County Government.

The county Board of Supervisors said it appreciated the partnership and collaborative efforts of MDOT and everyone involved, describing the grant as positive news for DeSoto County and people traveling through the area.
