HUD housing assistance for tornado victims

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) today announced the implementation of federal disaster relief for the state of Mississippi to assist state, tribal, and local recovery efforts for areas affected by severe storms, straight-line winds, and tornadoes beginning March 24 to March 25, 2023. On March 26, 2023, President Biden issued a major disaster declaration for the counties of Carroll, Humphreys, Monroe, and Sharkey.
