Tornado warning in effect for Adams County, Mississippi

A Facebook post said a tornado warning is in effect for Adams County, Mississippi, until 6:30 p.m. CDT.

Adams County is in southwestern Mississippi and includes the city of Natchez. The post did not provide additional details about the location of the threat or any observed damage.

A tornado warning indicates a tornado has been sighted or is indicated by radar and poses an imminent danger to life and property. Officials typically advise people to seek shelter immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building, away from windows, or in a reinforced storm shelter if one is available.
