Pike County Sheriff’s Office releases weekly crime report

Pike County Sheriff’s Office released its weekly crime report covering Feb. 27-March 5, 2026, the agency’s Public Relations Department said.

The department posted the report on its Facebook page and included the hashtag #ServiceBeforeSelf. The release did not provide additional details in the post; the Public Relations Department provided the report, the agency said.

Weekly crime reports from sheriff’s offices typically summarize recent incidents, arrests, traffic enforcement activity and public safety notices to inform residents and support transparency. Such reports also often alert the community to ongoing investigations and ask for tips from the public, though the department did not list those elements in its brief post.

The Pike County Sheriff’s Office is the primary law enforcement agency for the county and is responsible for patrol, detention, court security and related public safety duties. Residents seeking more information can consult the department’s official social media channels or contact the sheriff’s office directly. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
