Pike County Sheriff’s Office posts Geezer News update

Pike County Sheriff’s Office posted “Geezer News” on its Facebook page, a brief release provided by the office’s Public Relations Department said. The post included the hashtag #ServiceBeforeSelf.

Sheriff’s offices serve as the primary law enforcement agencies in their counties, typically responsible for patrol, criminal investigations, jail operations and community outreach. Public relations divisions handle communications with residents, issuing releases, safety tips and announcements intended to keep the public informed.
