Pike County Sheriff’s Office issues weekly crime report

Pike County Sheriff’s Office issued its weekly crime report for April 24-30, 2026, the agency’s Public Relations Department said. The announcement appeared on the sheriff’s office social media channels and carried the department’s motto, “Service Before Self.”

The post itself was brief and provided no additional details about specific incidents, arrests or calls for service during the seven-day period. The sheriff’s office did not include narrative summaries or statistics in the social media notice, according to the post.

Weekly crime reports are commonly used by local law enforcement agencies to inform residents about public-safety trends, ongoing investigations and community concerns. The Pike County Sheriff’s Office, like other county law enforcement agencies, is responsible for patrol, criminal investigations and maintaining public order in areas outside municipal police jurisdictions.

Residents seeking more information are advised to consult the sheriff’s office’s official website or social media pages for the full report and any updates. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
