Lee County sheriff’s office seeks help identifying vehicle break-in suspect
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post that it is asking the public to help identify a person shown in photos after a vehicle break-in on Aug. 5, 2026.
The office said the break-in occurred at approximately 8 a.m. at a business near Shannon and Verona in Lee County, Mississippi, and that electronic equipment related to the vehicle and business was taken.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lee County Sheriff’s Office at 662-432-2622 or Crime Stoppers of Northeast Mississippi at 1-800-773-TIPS (8477). The sheriff’s office asked members of the public to share the images and information, saying, “Any information, no matter how small, could assist investigators.”
Lee County is in northeastern Mississippi and includes municipalities such as Tupelo; Shannon and Verona are towns in the county.
