The Jackson Police Department said in a Facebook post that it is attempting to locate 17-year-old Kristal Alonzo, who was last seen Thursday, Aug. 20, 2026.
Alonzo is described as 5-foot-7 and 145 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, the department said. Authorities have not released additional information about the circumstances of her disappearance.
The Jackson Police Department, which conducts law enforcement and public safety operations for the city of Jackson, urged anyone with information to contact investigators. Locating missing juveniles is a high priority for police because young people can be particularly vulnerable when they are away from home.
