Great Dane mix Lexington seeks forever home in Mississippi
Lexington, a neutered Great Dane mix at the Animal Rescue Fund of Mississippi, is looking for a forever home, the rescue said. ARF described him as a calm, loving dog with a gray coat and a gentle temperament.
ARF said Lexington enjoys getting outside for walks and playtime and is easy to walk. The rescue described him as intelligent, attentive and treat-motivated, and noted he has spent time in a foster home where he showed how well he bonds with people.
The rescue said Lexington would do best in a home that understands large-breed dogs and can continue providing structure and guidance. ARF cautioned that he has shown some dog selectivity in the past and recommended slow, proper introductions to other dogs.
Great Danes are often described as gentle giants and typically require space, consistent training and a committed owner, ARF said. Those interested in adopting Lexington can apply online at https://shorturl.at/QfNFQ. ARF’s Amazon wish list is available at https://shorturl.at/2QMGX.
