Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers said in a Facebook post that a tip identified Joseph Woodcock as the person connected to a burglary on Shaw Road in Gulfport, Mississippi. The department had asked the public for help in identifying an individual in a post on April 11, 2026.
Crime Stoppers said the tip allowed investigators with the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office to develop a lead and move the case forward. The organization thanked the tipster for providing information that helped propel the investigation.
The post urged residents to “See something? Say something” and said anonymous tips can be submitted through P3 Tips or by calling TIPS. Crime Stoppers programs generally collect anonymous information to aid law enforcement in locating suspects and solving crimes.
The Facebook post also noted that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
