Columbia station reopens; Jackson remains closed

An update posted on Facebook said that as of 8:50 a.m. the Columbia station is back open. The post said Jackson remains closed at this time.

The brief notice did not provide a reason for the closures or say when Jackson might reopen. The stations serve local commuters and transit riders and are part of the area’s public transportation network.

Temporary station closures can disrupt travel plans, force schedule adjustments and increase crowding at nearby stops. Transit agencies typically perform safety checks, investigations or repairs before reopening stations, and riders are encouraged to follow official channels for the latest information.

Details in this update were limited. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
