The New Albany School District is inviting students, families, alumni and community members to attend its Homecoming festivities. The district urged people to mark their calendars but did not provide event dates or other schedule details in the announcement.

A Mississippi journalist and writer based in Ripley, he received second place in poetry in the 2025 William Faulkner Literary Competition for "The Garden."
