Mississippi crime lab hosts Career Day for students across the state

The Mississippi State Crime Laboratory welcomed students from across the state for Career Day, offering an inside look at the science, technology and expertise used in forensic investigations.

The event also introduced students to career paths in forensic science and the role the field plays from the laboratory to the courtroom in the pursuit of truth and justice.

Organizers said the students could include some of Mississippi’s future forensic scientists.
