Ingomar Attendance Center students and staff honored Mrs. Larrie Hogue by wearing shirts featuring her well-known phrase, “Y’all Be Good!”
The school said the Falcons will wear the shirts throughout the year while remembering Hogue as a friend and constant encourager. The post added that she will always be in their hearts.
Jon Ross Myers founded Mississippi News Group in 2013. Before founding the organization, he worked at The Daily Mississippian, The Marion Salute and The Southern Sentinel. A Mississippi journalist and writer based in Ripley, he received second place in poetry in the 2025 William Faulkner Literary Competition for "The Garden."
