Students at Ingomar Attendance Center earned second place in the state for math test scores, according to a post from the school. The school celebrated the students’ achievement and credited their hard work and determination.

A Mississippi journalist and writer based in Ripley, he received second place in poetry in the 2025 William Faulkner Literary Competition for "The Garden."
