Baldwyn School District highlighted Throw Back Thursday as a favorite dress-up day and said Bearcats participated in the event. The district invited people to comment with photos if theirs were not included in the post.

A Mississippi journalist and writer based in Ripley, he received second place in poetry in the 2025 William Faulkner Literary Competition for "The Garden."
