The Washington County Economic Alliance announced its 14th Annual Golf & Gathering at the Greenville Golf & Country Club, describing the event as one of its largest fundraisers of the year.
More than 100 golfers from across Mississippi are expected to participate. The alliance also thanked sponsors and volunteers from Southern Bancorp and Entergy Mississippi for supporting the event.
Jon Ross Myers founded Mississippi News Group in 2013. Before founding the organization, he worked at The Daily Mississippian, The Marion Salute and The Southern Sentinel. A Mississippi journalist and writer based in Ripley, he received second place in poetry in the 2025 William Faulkner Literary Competition for "The Garden."
