The Tunica County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with the DEA, will host National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the lobby of the Sheriff’s Office.

A Mississippi journalist and writer based in Ripley, he received second place in poetry in the 2025 William Faulkner Literary Competition for "The Garden."
