Tate Reeves marked Daughter’s Day with a message celebrating his three daughters, Tyler, Emma and Maddie. Reeves said he was proud to be a “girl dad” and expressed love for the girls on behalf of himself and their mother.

A Mississippi journalist and writer based in Ripley, he received second place in poetry in the 2025 William Faulkner Literary Competition for "The Garden."
