Tallahatchie Riverfest set for Sept. 26 in downtown New Albany

The 2026 Tallahatchie Riverfest is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 26, in downtown New Albany, with a full day of music, food, shopping and family activities. This year’s theme is “Soul, Grit & Guitars.”

The event will include a free River Stage concert beginning at 5 p.m., featuring double headliners Bobby Rush and Paul Thorn. Anissa Hampton and the Shameless All-Star Country Band are also scheduled to perform.

During the day, Tanglefoot Sounds will perform at Trailhead Plaza, with appearances by Mike Cater and Chad Nolan, Leah Rose, and CJ Lane & Friends.

Organizers are also inviting visitors to shop the Marketplace, purchase food from vendors and visit the Kids Zone. Admission is free.
