South Green Street near Daybrite Drive has reopened after an 18-wheeler struck a light pole, according to an update from the Tupelo Police Department. The roadway had been closed while the area was addressed.
An earlier traffic alert asked drivers to avoid the area and use an alternate route until South Green Street could be safely reopened.
