Hernando Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs, known as HYPE, is promoting the next event in its Lunch & Learn Series, featuring Sheriff Thomas E. Tuggle.
The event is described as an opportunity for young professionals to connect and network with fellow business leaders while hearing from Tuggle, identified by the announcement as a community leader. Registration is available through a QR code or the event listing provided by the Hernando Main Street Chamber of Commerce.
Jon Ross Myers founded Mississippi News Group in 2013. Before founding the organization, he worked at The Daily Mississippian, The Marion Salute and The Southern Sentinel. A Mississippi journalist and writer based in Ripley, he received second place in poetry in the 2025 William Faulkner Literary Competition for "The Garden."
