DeSoto County EMS seeks part-time paramedics and EMTs

DeSoto County EMS is seeking part-time paramedics and emergency medical technicians as it rebuilds its part-time staffing pool, according to an announcement from DeSoto County Government.

Applicants must complete a county application for consideration. Applications will be accepted only for posted positions and must be received before the deadline. A separate application is required for each job, and resumes submitted without an application will not be considered or retained.

The application deadline is Sept. 30, 2026, at 5 p.m. Applications may be emailed as a PDF to HR@desotocountyms.gov, faxed to 662-469-8266 or delivered to Human Resources at 365 Losher St., Suite 205A, Hernando, Mississippi 38632.

The county said it is a drug-free workplace and that candidates must pass drug and background checks before hire. Position information and the county employment application are available through the county’s online jobs page.
