A peanut butter and jelly collection is continuing for a few more days to support local food pantries in Pontotoc and Bruce, according to the Pontotoc Electric Power Association.
The effort is seeking donations to help address food insecurity in the two communities. The announcement featured PB and Jay, who were described as celebrating the remaining collection period.
Jon Ross Myers founded Mississippi News Group in 2013. Before founding the organization, he worked at The Daily Mississippian, The Marion Salute and The Southern Sentinel.
