The City of Southaven marked the first day of fall, noting that the season was once called harvest before “fall” and “autumn” became common terms.
The city said leaves are beginning to change colors, with cooler temperatures and crisp mornings expected as the season progresses. It also encouraged residents to make time to enjoy the season and consider fun and practical fall activities.
